Then, she created a deep side part and pinned the hair to one side with matte black bobby pins. "She's a young New York girl who's not overthinking it," says Syfu of the inspiration. "It's 'day two' hair." For added texture, she finished the look with a mist of Tresemmé Fresh Start Color Care Dry Shampoo, $5.29.

Beautiful, gorgeous, shiny choices for long hair. I actually already wear the 1940 "rolls" and I'm not young. Make them fuller with some teasing, rolling back toward nape of neck, pin with bobby pins. Take all the remaining hair into a loose band, twist around into very loose bun, roll it up from nape and pin. Pull the hair "out" from the rolls with a pick to loosen up the look ... the pic here is very tight. It's a great way to wear hair that really gets noticed .. men and women love it!!! Day or Nite.
