Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale The Cream, $455 Key ingredient: Imperiale Orchidee Molecular Extract (IOME)
Guerlain's fancy moisturizer, about $284 per ounce, also relies on an extract derived from the seemingly magical fountain of youth that is the orchid. (Boy, that orchid sure is under a lot of pressure!) Guerlain promises that the cream will address "all signs of aging" and transform the skin into a plumper, more radiant surface after just one month. Big promise? Yes. But Guerlain did spend 15 years researching this little guy so there must be something that works in there... right?

Maybe it's pricey. But maybe it's worth it. I say look into it because maybe it's expensive because of the one amazing ingredient that does wonders.

The most expensive skin care I have ever tried is Ameleon Skincare and worth every single penny. Expensive but it works, highly recommend it

I think the romance and magic of cosmetics is worth the price for some women, you know, like an expensive perfume or designer outfit that makes her feel confident and happy. If you have the money and you need the lure of the name, then go for it. If the ingredients are good, then they will improve your skin, but not take the place of surgery or dermatological procedures. I say have fun, but don't break the bank!

WOW these prices have left me speechless! but it is amusing to know that most of these products have zero reviews on Totalbeauty, i guess because very very few people can afford them!

You can get botox for cheaper, and I will do just that before buying these creams.
