there are sooo many cheaper products with exact same active ingredients, it's amazing. It's particularly easy to find a replacement within a large brand (like l'oreal)- kerastase- l'oreal, etc.

I think I get ripped off a lot, as I still believe in the old adage you get what you pay for. This article is making me think that I could be saving some money, but I do believe that the high end products I purchase are superior.

Depends on what type of hair you have. If you have manageable hair, any brand will work on your hair but if you are fighting with frizz and unmanageable hair, drugstore products won't work.
