Best scent: Brazilian True Tan, $40 There's a lot to love about Brazil, a fact that the founders of the Brazilian Peel know all too well. So when their major retailers (ahem, Sephora) asked for more South American-inspired products, they got to work formulating a stellar self-tanner. After all, what's more Brazilian than a really great tan?

While the color is amazing, and the formula is packed with exfoliating ingredients to help your tan look better longer (so brilliant), it's the scent that makes this one stand out. It contains jojoba oil, which is all you smell -- there's barely a hint of that telltale self-tanner odor.

i like the loreal except i always have orange hands after use, the jergens one is great too. lately ive been using fake bake flawless self tanner. love the color it gives but it seems to fade really fast

I like Estee Lauder's version, but I keep coming back to Jergens. You can truly control the intensity of the color with no streaking.

I'm highly sensitive and allergy-prone. I tried the Jergens last year on my legs and LOVED how it looked, but quickly developed a reaction. It had a strong odor then, so I'm wondering if it's been reformulated enough that I can risk trying it again. Hmmm...
