The 2013 Self-Tanner AwardsWhen it comes to choosing the right self-tanner, the stakes are high. We're giving awards to the best ones out there, so you don't have to risk looking like an Oompa Loompa again |
Best for everyday use: Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer, $8.99 There are people who self-tan for a special occasion like a wedding, and then there are those who self-tan every single day. If they're not careful, the self-tanning addicts can end up with a skin tone that's well, not exactly human.
To avoid overdoing it, opt for a gradual glow moisturizer like this one. Because it's meant to be used daily, the color is buildable and won't get too dark or too orange. Plus, all of the Jergens Natural Glow products have been reformulated, and the self-tanner smell is gone.

I like Estee Lauder's version, but I keep coming back to Jergens. You can truly control the intensity of the color with no streaking.

Jergens is a great affordable option. I've used it for years, both the express and regular versions.

I'm highly sensitive and allergy-prone. I tried the Jergens last year on my legs and LOVED how it looked, but quickly developed a reaction. It had a strong odor then, so I'm wondering if it's been reformulated enough that I can risk trying it again. Hmmm...
