Twisted Chignon This might appear too complicated for a morning routine, but if it takes you more than two minutes, you're doing it wrong (and wasting valuable coffee-guzzling time). Comb a palm-size amount of mousse through the bottom half of your hair to give it some grip. Divide your hair into two low pigtails. On one side of your head, twist the hair to the ends. Cross your twists at the back of your head; if you have short hair that can't be twisted anymore, pin it here. If your hair is longer, continue to pin the twists moving from one side of the head to the other, creating overlapping "Z" shapes. Continue pinning until all your hair is in a bun.
