Then spray a salt spray (he recommends Suave Professionals Sea Mineral Infusion Texturizing Sea Salt Spray, $6.09) at the roots of your hair. Rough dry your hair, using your fingers to work the roots. When your hair is dry, wrap sections of your hair around it only once to get a beachy bend. Continue around your entire head, alternating as you go.
