From moody, almost-black charcoal to misty, barely-there hues, we are smitten with the shades of gray we're seeing everywhere -- from New York Fashion Week to Estee Lauder's eye-popping new metallic collection . Neither black nor white, this hue walks the line between striking and ethereal -- and we love it in every gradation. Called a fashion "palette cleanser" (by fashion people who use such terms), we think it's the perfect hue to transition into fall.
