My Closing Thoughts While I had pretty good luck with all of the dry shampoos I tried throughout the week, I was definitely ready to deep clean my hair with shampoo come Saturday night. In fact, I reached for my trusted Drybar On the Rocks Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo, $26, to get the job done. I was excited to see that I could actually maintain my hair's style for a full week by using dry shampoo each day. Not only did applying dry shampoo make my hair look, feel and smell cleaner, it also added texture and volume. I'd call that a definite success.

(This is me after seven days of dry shampoo.)
