Runway to Real Life: Spring Makeup TrendsBecause we're officially over winter, and we love-love how these bloggers translated the hottest looks for Spring 2014 |
White-Eyed Wonder Abstract strokes at Kate Spade, light dusts at Altuzarra and an ethereal application at Tibi -- three officially makes white eye makeup the must-try trend for spring. Wakeup for Makeup's Ivy Boyd recreates this dramatic eye look that works for both winter and spring.
First apply a cream shadow, such as NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, to the entire lid, using your fingers to blend. Next, top with a matte white shadow (Boyd uses White from the LORAC Pro Palette). For added definition, Boyd adds Slate from the same palette to the outer corners and crease, and blends with a fluffy brush. White eyeliner, like Sephora Nano Eyeliner, brings an extra pop of intensity. You can either finish with mascara, or add an extra flourish with a glittery topcoat like Boyd's LORAC Liquid Lustre and false lashes.
