The Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson Collection is Too Pretty for Words

The latest collection from makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury turns makeup into works of art, paying homage to famed photographer Norman Parkinson

If you look at makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury's Instagram, you'll find images by famed fashion photographer Norman Parkinson (he spent over 50 years in the business, and photographed icons like Sophia Loren, Vivien Leigh and Iman) sprinkled throughout her posts of celebrity clients and backstage snaps. She often uses his images in her mood boards, so it was only fitting that she collaborated with his grandson to create a limited edition line that captures the essence of Parkinson's work.

"With this collection, I not only wanted to immortalize Norman Parkinson in makeup form, but also capture the DNA of his vision of beauty: he was an alchemist with light, capturing the sun and the differing effects of mood-lighting on the skin in a really unique way," Tilbury says. The swoon-worthy collection is available June 26 at CharlotteTilbury.com, July 9 at Bergdorf Goodman and July 23 at Nordstrom, Net-a-Porter and BeautyLish.
