7 New Treatments That Reverse Summer-Fried HairBecause you've had a really good summer, and your frazzled hair needs some TLC |
In salon: Julien Farel Zero Frizz Quickie Of all the treatments I tried, this one was the most complicated -- and also the most time-consuming. It took about 90 minutes, and if you have thick hair, expect to be there for at least two hours. The results also lasted the longest: I had smoother hair for a few weeks. The process is similar to a keratin treatment: the stylist shampoos your hair, applies a keratin cream, blow dries and flatirons the product into your hair, and then washes it again before blowing it out. Unlike most keratin treatments, you can put your hair up into a ponytail and wash it as soon as you want. Think of it as Keratin Light. It will give you smoother hair, but don't expect a complete transformation.
