Holiday Makeup Look: Playful Purple Lips If daytime drama's your thing, combine a smoky eye with a bold statement lip for an all-out bombshell effect come nighttime. Berry lipstick, a classic holiday lip color, is infinitely more fun when done in a glossy, purple shade.

A.M. Prep: Show up to work looking like a boss with this daytime smoky eye. Here, Jess uses Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, $54, to create her look. First, apply Combust (a matte taupe) into your crease, then layer Whiskey (a matte brown) over it in the outer corners of your eyes. Build up the lid with three metallic gold shades, and smoke out the look by applying Whiskey to the lash line.

P.M. Panache: Skip the nude lip and go for a bold purple lipstick instead. You only need two products: A long-wear lip pencil and gloss. Line your lips, starting at the center and working your way out. Fill in your lips with the liner as well. Then, top it off with a matching purple lip gloss. Rodriguez uses 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil in Bittersweet and Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss, $22, in Bittersweet for Jessica's look.
