The technique: If you have unsteady hands, employ Langston's No. 1 trick for color-blocked nails: "Use painter's tape on the lower half of the nail, which will give you that perfect, straight line," suggests Langston. Paint with two coats of Firey Island on the top half of nails, removing the tape immediately after to keep the line smooth. Take three gold beads from the kit using pointed tweezers, dipping each bead in a bit of nail glue. Apply them in the shape of a triangle just above the bisection.
