Melissa Dwyer, Fekkai colorist, shares her observations on hair color trends for this year: "Last year around this time reddish tones were a big hit with our clients. While people are still feeling nostalgic and keeping those tones around, buttercream blonde has been on the rise this season. To achieve a lighter look, it is best to do two rounds before summer, while someone who only wants buttercream pieces can stretch it with one visit. When it comes to a wash routine, I always suggest to my clients to wash no more than 3 times a week to keep a nice, healthy scalp.
