Margot Robbie's Dangerously Gorgeous Ponytail We're almost as excited about the release of "Suicide Squad" this weekend as we are about the good-girl-gone-bad look Margot Robbie wore to the NYC premiere. Her dark crimson lips paired with an effortless pony nodded to her starring role as Harley.
To create the chic pony, Robbie turned to celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora who started by applying KMS Add Volume Volumizing Spray and KMS Free Shape Hot Flex Spray to create a voluminous base in damp hair. After drying her hair completely using the Varis Blow Dryer, Campora allowed a few rebellious strands to remain free (channeling Harley again), and secured the rest of her hair at the base of her neck.
To create the messy pony, he twisted the hair using an elastic to pull the hair through once, and only pulling through halfway the second time to create a looped bun. To secure the hair, Campora amped the look up using a hair accessory over the band, and wrapped the remaining hair around the accessory using bobby pins to lock in the look. For an even more undone effect, he pulled out a few random pieces and sprayed a bit of KMS Free Shape 2-in-1 Styling + Finish Spray to hold the look in place. Even Robbie's strands couldn't break out of Arkham, and we love the finished product puddin'.
