There's been an exciting influx of Japanese beauty brands lately, especially at the prestige cosmetics level. Of course, some of them have been department store staples for decades (ahem, Shiseido), while others have garnered cult followings at stores like Sephora (a la Boscia and Tatcha) over the past few years. Still, others are climbing to prominence (like Cle de Peau and Koh Gen Do) and there are even a few newcomers to the scene (take Decorte, for example).
