The Smoky Under Eye The rocker-ish smudgy eye has been popular forever, and this is the latest incarnation. Instead of smoking out the top lid, makeup artists focused their efforts on the often-neglected under eye area.
At Jenny Packham (top right), makeup artist Talia Sparrow used Laura Mercier products to create the look. "It's still a rock 'n' roll look," she said. "But it's a different take on a smoky eye." She emphasized the importance of foundation and concealer to get rid of any redness -- especially around the eyes.
