SHAPE: Clubbed Nails Clubbed nails are hard to miss, and they are not to be taken lightly — this nail condition can signal a serious illness, says Steele. "Clubbing of the nails is typically a sign of long-standing or severe cardiovascular or lung disease and poor oxygenation," says Steele.
