9 New Beauty Products We Spotted Backstage at NYFW Spring 2019

Every New York Fashion Week, we're gifted gorgeous new clothing to ogle during a quick 10-minute catwalk, but many attendees are unaware of the hours-long preparation process that happens behind the scenes leading up to the show. Models are ushered in from their last gig, only to be completely transformed into the designer's vision. This process takes an entire crew of makeup artists, hair stylists and nail technicians furiously working their magic.

In a way, it's almost more fun to be backstage watching it all come together. If not to watch these professionals bring a vision to life, then to at least check out all the beauty products they're using. There are tried and true staples, of course, like Bioderma's Sensibio H20, Tom Ford's Shade & Illuminate Cheeks Palette and L'Oréal's Elnett Hair Spray, but it's also an opportunity to check out brand new (sometimes not even launched) beauty products. While roaming around backstage at roughly 25 different shows (yes, our feet hurt), we spotted nine noteworthy products to put on your radar.
