What caloric catastrophes lurk inside that seemingly innocent cup? Ryoko, a talented graphic designer who lives in Seattle, is such a devout coffee fan that she's built an entire website, ilovecoffee.jp, in homage.

Now, there's been lots written about how much buying a daily cup of coffee can set back your finances (don't even get Suze Orman started on the topic unless you have a whole lot of laundry to fold), but seems we somehow opt to dismiss the calorie component of many of these drinks, preferring perhaps to live in the land of denial. Because, you know, in Denial everything's sunshine and lollipops and calories don't count.

I'm not going to drag you kicking and screaming from your happy place when it comes to the seriously staggering number of calories many of your favorite coffee drinks contain (and we're not even getting into fat, sugar and salt), but I will passive-aggressively let Ryoko's delightful graphics do the talking for me.
