How to Pull off These Gorgeous Pinterest Hairstyles#Pinterestfail prone? Here, your step-by-step guide to getting the exact hair you pinned |
The Runway Pony If you wake up and your hair is having crazy-big texture issues (or you know, what some call an ordinary summer day), embrace that texture with this roughed-up ponytail hairstyle.
1. If you don't have a lot of natural texture, blow-dry wet hair while scrunching in a volumizing or texturizing mousse, says Babaii. Try Kérastase Densifique Densimorphose. (Blow dryer pictured is the T3 Featherweight 2.)
2. Use a wide-tooth comb and comb hair backward. Use your fingers to make a low, undefined center part.
3. Take one side of your hair and roll the section toward your center part. Secure the roll with bobby pins, leaving the ends free. Repeat on the opposite side. "Allow any shorter ends or frays to fall naturally," says Babaii. "This is an unstructured ponytail."
5. Bring both ends of your hair together and secure with a hair elastic. Finally add some smudgy eyeliner and heavy mascara, because this look is calling for it.
