How to Pull off These Gorgeous Pinterest Hairstyles#Pinterestfail prone? Here, your step-by-step guide to getting the exact hair you pinned |
Fan Girl When we saw Diane Kruger's voluminous bun at the 2014 Met Gala, we were instantly in awe. And then we saw it from the back. Gorgeous! Celebrity hairstylist Naté Bova tells us how you can DIY the red carpet style.
1. Start by taking a small chunk of hair from your right side and leaving it down as you pull the rest into a low ponytail, wrapping the hair tie around once. Instead of pulling your hair through the elastic on the second (or third time depending on your hair thickness), pull halfway says Bova.
2. Wrap the remaining hair around hair elastic, securing with bobby pins. Spray hairspray (Bova prefers Warren-Tricomi Style Superhold Hair Spray) around the pinned area.
3. Next, Bova instructs anchoring each side of your bun to the ends you've left out of your ponytail. Secure with bobby pins and spray, spray, spray that hairspray.
