Why: In case it's not obvious by now, if you have mature skin, you need to use an alpha or beta hydroxy acid product. "Acids help with surface skin-cell turnover, which slows dramatically with age," Tanzi explains. "When used regularly (followed by a good, hydrating moisturizer), they can help reduce age spots, brighten the skin and leave it more even-toned with a radiant glow."
