Body Jewelry While the rest of us were shivering our way into the warm weather months earlier this year, runway models and A-list celebrities were enjoying exotic, beachside vacations flaunting the season's latest covet-worthy accessory: body chains. A replacement for chunky statement jewelry or long, slinky necklaces you can double up, these body chains are making your summer wardrobe even more festive -- from casual knit tee to bikini.

Just because teeny-boppers and a certain iconic musician (Mariah Carey) pioneered the trend with signature belly chains back in the 90s doesn't mean we're not fans today. Au contraire. In fact, since chains were the predicted summer trend on the Versace and Anna Sui runways during fashion month, it's no wonder celebrities like Rihanna, Beyoncé and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have all been spotted wearing them. Call us crazy, but when it comes down to it, we're happy to add some bling to our wardrobes.
