Cuff Necklaces When it comes to trends, there's nothing like a tasteful comeback. The latest accessory cropping up on the Spring 2014 runways is a reimagined '90s throwback -- the choker. Happily, it's come a long way since the velvet ribbons and stretchy tattoo-like designs that were en vogue during the days of "Beverly Hills, 90210" (the original one).

The updated version of the trend -- also known as necklace cuffs -- has taken a chic turn for the better. As avant garde or unconventionally punk rock as they may seem, chokers can also be understated and refined. From simple silver or gold bands to elaborate diamond-encrusted jewels, these neck accessories can add glamour to a basic shift dress or a dose of edge to an otherwise ultra-feminine blouse. Designers like Givenchy and Celine predicted the above-the-collar trend would make waves. Now, A-listers, style icons and street style mavens alike are flocking to the trend, proving you don't have to be into S&M to work a cuff around your neck like boss.
