Makeup Trend: The Coral Lip Unlike seasons past, we didn't see bright lips on every runway. But the few makeup artists who did bright lips did them well -- in pretty, flattering shades of coral. Sarah Lucero used Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Liquid Lip Color in Tesoro (a coral-spiked red) at Clover Canyon (top left) and she used the same product in Carina (a coral-spiked pink) at Trina Turk (bottom right). At Tanya Taylor (top right), NARS international lead makeup stylist Uzo used NARS Satin lip Pencil in Timanfaya.
And over at Richard Chai (bottom left), makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo opted for a matte version -- MAC Lip Mix in Orange and Yellow. His tip for getting the perfect matte lip every time? "Draw it on, then press over it with your fingertips so it doesn't look too manicured," Carrasquilo says.

According to the New York Fashion Week runways, the two biggest beauty trends for spring 2015 are basically invisible: bare makeup (some makeup artists went so far as to call it "grooming" the face) and undone, not-quite-wavy but not-quite-straight hair.
You can get ready in five minutes and be perfectly on-trend. It's great … except it's boring as hell. So we reread our notes (from more than 30 shows) and sifted through hundreds of recaps from hair, makeup and nail experts detailing other Fashion Week beauty trends. And, miraculously, we were able to find a few that involved a pop of color or glimmer of creative genius. These spring beauty trends may not be the biggest, but they'll be so much more fun to recreate.
