The Best Celebrity Makeup Looks For Your Face Shape

Without looking in the mirror, do you know what shape your face is? I think I'm round (if you are too, check out the best hairstyles for round face shapes), but then when I asked the gals in my office, some of them agreed with me, but others said I'm more heart-shaped and one said I'm oval. Hmmm well, at least I can rule out square
Why all this face shape talk? I came across this fun story: The Best Makeup Looks For Your Face Shape. It shows photos of celebs that represent each face shape and an overall makeup look that will enhance your features, while minimizing your least favorite aspects of your shape (Reese Witherspoon draws focus away from her prominent chin in her heart-shaped face by adding a splash of color to her mouth and cheeks in this photo). I decided I'm a round-heart hybrid since I'm not distinctly one or the other. So I read through the tips and product suggestions for both round and heart, and I'm trying out a few to see what looks best on me. Scroll down for a guide to your most gorgeous face.
Face Shape: Heart
Traits: Wider forehead and narrow chin
Celebs: Christina Ricci, Reese Witherspoon
Your ideal makeup look: To draw focus away from your prominent chin and cheekbones, New York City makeup artist Nick Barose says to wear "feminine, sheer and soft tones" and add a "pop of color on [your] mouth and cheeks to downplay the strong, razor sharp cheekbones."
Face Shape: Round
Traits: Forehead and lower face are the same width and prominent cheeks
Celebs: Charlize Theron, Kirsten Dunst
Your ideal makeup look: To help add definition to your face, Barose suggests an "overall bronzy look with smoky eyes."

Face Shape: Square
Traits: Angular jawbone and hairline
Celebs: Jennifer Garner, Rachel McAdams
Your ideal makeup look: To help soften your angular features, Barose says to go with a makeup look that's "soft, feminine, ethereal with shimmery texture."
Face Shape: Oval
Traits: Same-width forehead and lower face, with longer sides
Celebs: Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba
Your ideal makeup look: To help cut down the length of your face, try a "rosy or bronzy blush that goes horizontal across the cheeks," says Barose and define your eyes and lips.
