Your Breasts Want You To Buy These Beauty Products

Actually, women's breasts everywhere will benefit from the purchase of all the pink beauty products hitting the scene starting Friday in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The number of hair care, makeup and skin care products that donate proceeds to breast cancer research and various other foundations is vast and is a great reminder to practice good breast health. Take this quiz to discover your ideal breast cancer early detection plan and check out these tips from the American Cancer Society to help you stay on top of your breast health:
Recent research suggests that physical activity and a healthy diet resulting in a healthy body weight can reduce the risk of breast cancer for the first time, or the chance of you having a reoccurring episode. So hit the gym and eat those veggies!
All women over 40 should get an annual mammogram and an annual clinical breast exam. And women 20-39 should get an exam at least every three years.
Women with a family history of breast cancer or who have had breast cancer should have an additional mammography throughout the year, or they should start annual exams earlier in their lives.
And because there are SO many great products participating, I will keep you up to date with my faves each week this month. Here are my first favorites working towards a cure:
Ojon Revitalizing Mist, $26 donates 20 percent of the sale price to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and is a great leave-in conditioner.
EmerginC Red Carpet Primer, $42 donates 20 percent of the sale price to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national non-profit for women and families affected by breast cancer, and works as a wrinkle-fighting makeup base.
Cricket Friction Free Ionic Tourmaline Ceramic Dryer, $79 donates a portion of its profits to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation and is probably the cutest high-powered hair dryer I have ever seen.
If these products don't tickle your fancy, check back next week as I continue to scratch the surface of the many beauty companies offering pink products. So get out there and support the cause you might just get a little prettier in the process.

That hairdryer is really, really cute. I love the pink color, and the floral embellishment.
