Just when you thought it was safe to use a regular tampon
American tampon commercials are ridiculous. I mean, what woman prances around in white shorts, picks flowers in a field with her gal pals, or jumps around like a high school cheerleader when she's bleeding? No one, that's who. Periods suck ... period.
This slightly terrifying but totally funny Tampax ad from Russia doesn't dance around the issue. Tapping into one of our worst fears about our period, the commercial hits the spot. There's blood. There's emotion. And most of all, there's hunger.
Unfortunately, this so-called ad is actually an advertisement for the flopped film, "Movie 43." No one knows why this faux tampon ad is going viral now, but we still think it's completely hilarious. (Source).
