Retro. Futuristic. Dreamy. Calming. These are some of the descriptors being bandied about to describe last night's Marc Jacobs fall show which, as usual, left one heck of an impression on those lucky enough to have a seat.
In fact, the sets, the music and the clothes (loads of tunics-over-leggings and other minimalist looks), were such a sight to behold that few noticed one of the Kardashian/Jenner offspring making her NYFW debut.
Sure, the show's signature pinky/brown cropped wigs and bleached out eyebrows helped to keep the identity of most of the models a mystery (though, in truth, fashion's "big names" were notably absent), but given the paparazzi fanfare usually afforded Kendall Jenner, it was impressive that she managed to get by
almost un-noticed.
"I just recently turned 18, so this [Marc Jacobs show] is my big kick-off to start and grow my career. The New York fashion scene is crazy, madness, but I love the energy. I love everything about it -- like the hair and makeup today, it's incredible. I've never had my eyebrows bleached; I don't even look like myself," an exuberant Jenner said before hitting the catwalk. Braless. In a sheer top. (To be fair, all the other girls did too. And, of course, big sis Khloe has already gotten busy defending it.)

Was it nerve-wracking to have to strut her stuff for one of the most highly anticipated collections, in front of some of fashion's biggest names? Talking to The Gloss backstage, Jenner admitted that, "I'm a little nervous for the show, but I'm really excited. It's my first runway show, so I've been practicing. I feel like everybody has their own individual walk, and that's what makes someone so special. Maybe I'll run down the runway! [Laughs]"
Perhaps the best part of the night where her appearance was concerned? The fact that none of her spotlight-grabbing siblings felt compelled to come and steal her thunder.
