After a recent successful fashion month walking runways
in New York, Paris and Milan, Kaia Gerber just got a new feather for her cap: The 17 year-old model will be the new face of Yves Saint Laurent Beaute.
"To be the new face of YSL Beaute is an opportunity to write a new story full of fun, color and makeup," said Gerber in a press release. "I love the DNA of a brand that is so subversive while being so luxurious and cool!"
Gerber's brand ambassadorship will kick off in January 2019, with a campaign for the brand's popular
Rouge Volupte Shine, $38, shot by David Sims, featuring a makeup look by YSL Beaute's Global Beauty Director, Tom Pecheux. She'll additionally appear in future campaigns for the iconic
Touche Eclat, $38, and
Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils, $32.
It's an exciting step for Gerber,
who memorably made her debut almost exactly a year ago at New York Fashion Week. Mom Cindy Crawford should definitely be proud, no?
