It's been quite the saga across multiple social media platforms, but here's the short version: Ariana Grande's new
music video for "God Is a Woman" features a scene where she bathes in a picturesque blend of pastels. A fan took notice of the bath bomb-esque tableau and
DM'd screenshots to Lush — and Lush DM'd back. The fan then tweeted out screenshots of their conversation, to which
Ariana promptly replied, "omg @lushcosmetics i'll do anything."
Next thing we know, Lush Product Inventor and Chief Digital Officer Jack Constantine is getting to work on a prototype for #LushLabs — and the rest is history.
The prototype itself is definitely something special: Constantine posted images of the bath bomb both in the tub and out, and it's equally beautiful in each form (and it really is a dead ringer for the "God is a Woman" bath that started this whole thing in the first place).
So, what's the deal? Is this actually going to be a thing or what? Will we really be getting Ariana Grande x Lush "God Is a Woman" bath bombs? Well, the official word from Lush on the potential collab is that "only time will tell!" but, come on. We've
all seen the social media receipts. At any rate, let's keep our fingers crossed!
