I thought we'd seen it all when it came to facials: blood, placenta, bird poop, 24 Karat Gold. But now the four-star Macdonald Manchester Hotel and Spa in England
is adding another treatment to the dear-god-why list: the Manchester Tart facial.
The ingredients: apple custard, raspberry jam, coconut, and maraschino cherries. As a dessert it sounds fantastic. But on your face? We're not so sure.

The spa claims the custard is high in vitamins A and C, the coconut moisturizes, and the cherries and jam help exfoliate. Whether they do all that better than traditional facial products remains to be seen, but if you find yourself on that side of the pond and want to try the new facial, it'll cost you about $70.
The upside: If anything accidentally drips into your mouth during the application, at least you know it'll taste good.
Weigh in: Would you ever try this facial?
