If there's anyone who makes us question our success, it's pop sensation Rebecca Gomez -- better known by her stage name, Becky G. The "Break a Sweat" singer is the face of not one, but two major brands: CoverGirl and Degree. She's also playing the yellow ranger in the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie set to release next year. The kicker? She's only 19 years old (talk about a total boss babe).

But when you look at Gomez's beauty icons, it should come as no surprise that her first iconic movie role requires her to play a total badass -- as her role models are the actual definition of the word. "I absolutely love Rihanna's and J. Lo's chic and edgy style," Gomez says. "I love that they can go from wearing sneakers and sweats to red-carpet ready, and look amazing rocking both."

We caught up with the singer and actress at her iHeart Radio performance where she used Lightwave technology to measure the crowd's movement. Though the energy of her performance hit g-force levels, Becky G. looked flawless after the show.

When asked to reveal a few of her beauty secrets Gomez shared, "I love my signature cat eye eyeliner, and the trick to creating a perfect cat eye is keeping your arm steady on a stable surface. It takes practice." A serious beauty junkie, Gomez has never met a trend she's been afraid to try -- even one that involved contouring with tape. "I tried the tape trend and it was terrible," confesses Gomez. "It's so hard to blend with such harsh lines."
