The LA version of the winter coat? A leather jacket. This has the biker edge of a leather jacket, but it has a super light cotton-blend finish, so I won't be sweating through the 60 degree 'winter' here.

I love cat eyes. I love smoky eyes. This palette has all the makings for creating the perfect smoky-cat eye hybrid.

6. Zara Two-Tone Pointed Ankle Strap Shoe, $59.90
I've been wearing chunky heels and platforms all year long, so it's refreshing to see this skinnier, shorter heel (and color blocking always gets points in my book).

7. DKNY Tuxedo Trouser, $171.07
As a proponent of menswear, I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of tuxedo trousers (complete with a stripe) to go with the closet full of blazers I own.

8. Narcisso Rodriguez, Black Separates, Spring 2014
I'm a firm believer in the "all black everything" state of mind. This tasteful peek of skin makes a great alternative to the usual LBD.

9. Michael Kors Brass Runway Watch, $160
Two Christmases back, all three of my siblings and both my parents had watches waiting under the tree. I was allegedly left out because I'm "too picky." Does this help, Santa?!

10. Stella McCartney Cat-Eye Sunglasses, $225
After shoes, sunglasses are my favorite accessory. It probably isn't a coincidence that I live in a city where it's socially acceptable (and sometimes necessary) to wear them year round.
