Anything that promises to be "forever-lasting" and "waterproof" is worth trying in my book. The biggest eye makeup test for me is whether or not it passes my "it's 4 p.m. and oops ... I accidentally rubbed my eyes while yawning" test. Usually this is followed by a mad dash to a mirror to see if I have eyeliner streaked across my face. So I put Urban Decay's new 24/7 Glide-On eye pencil to the test.

Stepping out of my black and brown comfort zone, I tested the new liner in Cuff -- a bold shimmery silver. After a morning meeting, I threw on the liner and honestly forgot about it once my schedule picked up. Next thing you know ... it's 4 o'clock and I'm rubbing my screen-fried eyes. Mirror check: this liner was completely intact and looked as sharp and bright as it did in the a.m.

This liner lives up to its promises: creamy, forever-lasting and waterproof. I even tried to rub it off and hit it with a bit of water, but this steadfast liner didn't budge. Since it comes in 12 different shades, I'm officially putting my blacks and browns aside for the summer and experimenting with my favorite colors in the bunch: purple and silver.
