Rebecca Brown has suffered from trichotillomania for the past six years. The trichotillomania causes her to want to compulsively pull out her hair. Some pull it out in clumps from their bodies, but Rebecca pulls it out from her head. For the past six and a half years, she's chronicled her struggles with the disease by taking a photo of herself every day.


Now that she's 21, Rebecca compiled the photos into a moving montage, which shows just how far she's come in dealing with her disease. "Beauty is more than what we see with the eyes," she wrote in the comment section of the video. " People are more than their conditions. I am more than my hair and skin."

Her transformation is inspiring.
