To get the look, blow dry hair super straight. "Then pull all your hair back into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck, except for the bangs or front layers," says Antin. Fasten the ponytail, then wrap the hair around the elastic to create the bun. Secure at the base with bobby pins. For added drama, Antin advises taking the strands you left out and loosely pulling them back into the bun, wrapping them around the base. Secure with a few more bobby pins and mist on some light hairspray.

Extra loose low bun
If this low bun doesn't convert you to the new spring trend, nothing will. It's the ideal combination of effortless elegance and romantic wisps, all wrapped up into one style. Better yet, its one of the most versatile styles you'll find. "This is a great style because it can transition from day to night," Antin says.
Start off by adding a root lifting cream to ensure your style has volume. Using a one-and-a-half inch curling iron, create large, loose curls. Next, gently brush out curls into soft waves. "Take all of the hair and pull it into a ponytail and loop the hair around itself to create a loose low bun," Antin instructs. Spritz the bun with hairspray for a look that will last.

Low bun with a side braid
If you love braids, this style is for you. "This hairstyle is super feminine and romantic for spring and summer!" Antin says.
To achieve the look, section hair into two parts between upper and lower layers. Fasten the lower half of hair into a secure, low ponytail. Wrap the ponytail around the base to create a bun, securing with bobby pins. Now, move back to the top section of hair and divide into two parts. "French braid each side from the root approximately two to three inches," Antin advises. "Then, resume to regular braiding through the ends." Finish by wrapping the braids around the base of the bun and secure with bobby pins.

Curly low bun
This one's for all the curly girls: "This style is super sexy, frames the face and offers an effortless look," Antin says.
Start by spritzing all over with a texturizing spray. Then add more defined ringlets by curling hair with a one inch iron in vertical sections. "Next put your hair in a loose low ponytail and wrap your hair around so it's in a loose chignon," Antin says. "Keep a few layers out around the front to frame the face and apply shine serum."

Low side bun
Drama? Check. Glamour? Check. Super Easy? Double check. "This is a simple yet sophisticated look that can be achieved in 2 minutes or less," Antin says.
Begin by pulling the back of your hair into a low side ponytail and use a small clear elastic to secure. Next, fasten the rest of your hair (top) into a second ponytail, positioned directly above the first. "Back comb both ponytails for more volume and gently finger comb ends together into one main ponytail," Antin says. "Wrap the hair around the base and tease as desired."
