"I first tried this celebrity fragrance when we were testing scents for last year's Total Beauty Awards and fell in love with it. The bottle is pretty without trying too hard and the fragrance is light and fresh and expensive smelling. I'm OK telling people what perfume I'm wearing when they ask (but only if they ask!), but that's also because Halle Berry is gorgeous and a great actress, so it's a little less embarrassing than, say, a Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian scent." -- Sarah Carrillo, Senior Editor

"I really like Taylor Swift, so I'm always willing to give her a chance. When her new perfume came out, I didn't have high hopes, but it was still Taylor's so I tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. This celebrity fragrance is light but not floral, and it has some earthy tones that ground the scent. Most importantly, it isn't overwhelming. I wish I could say the same for the perfume bottle. I normally love to display my bottles, but not this one. With an iridescent 'I Dream of Jeanie' effect and a tacky charm bracelet trailing off the cap, this is one perfume bottle that stays hidden in the deep recesses of my sock drawer." -- Alexis Finc, Associate Editor

"I like to layer Jennifer Aniston's celebrity fragrance with other beachy scents. I like the fresh jasmine and sandalwood notes and I usually mist it over monoi oil and coconut oil. Her scent is uber-strong, so I only spritz it once if I'm going to wear it." -- Cinya Burton, Senior Associate Editor

"OK, I'm woman enough to confess this: I used to wear Curious by Britney Spears in college. I remember curling my hair and spritzing some on before heading out to a sorority formal. I don't wear it anymore, but ... every now and then I'll dab on just a little to take me back to sophomore year." -- Emily Poppy, Assistant Editor

"I like Glowing (despite that fact that I've never admitted it until now), because it reminds me of a perfume I used to wear in high school, anais anais by Cacharel. This celeb fragrance is floral-y but not too sweet, and I think it's just perfect for summer. Also, the fact that the bottle lights up as you spray is a little surprise bonus that makes me smile every time." -- Audrey Fine, Special Projects Editor

When you ask a woman -- especially a beauty editor -- for her favorite perfume, you expect to hear names like Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, and Chloé -- not Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton.

It's not that we have anything against these celebs, but there's something so cheese-tastic about buying and wearing a fragrance that has a celebrity's face plastered all over it. And yet, the celebrity fragrance industry is booming.

Elizabeth Taylor was the first to cash in with her celebrity perfume, and since then the fragrance industry has become a major revenue source for Hollywood. Take Paris Hilton. She's made $1.5 billion dollars from her perfume collection so far, and she's coming out with fragrance No. 15 this summer. Clearly there's a market for the products, but who are the women shelling out their hard earned cash for these celebrity fragrances?

We are.

Skip ahead to see the 11 celebrity fragrances we're embarrassed to love.

Now, before you start raising those eyebrows, hear us out. While we may not proudly display these celeb fragrances on our vanities, the truth is that a handful of these perfumes actually smell good. Sure, you could argue that some of these celebrities don't have any business in the limelight -- let alone the perfume industry. But one way or another, they've created scents that a lot of us love to wear. Want to see the 11 celebrity fragrances the TotalBeauty.com editors secretly spritz on every day? Who knows, just like us, you might end up needing to find a good hiding spot for one of these.
