Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin created this look for Jones. Goodwin says she "used ultra feminine colors with a super sculptural liner for a cool update" on the "classic late '50s" style. To create the look, keep the face "understated with minimal foundation, pale pink cream cheek color [on the apples of the cheeks], and a light pink sheer gloss" like Estee Lauder High Gloss in Blush, $16 on the lips. For the dramatic eye, use a liquid liner like Chanel Liquid Eyeliner in Noir, $34 to create a thick line "along the lash for an exaggerated cat eye effect," says Goodwin. Then apply two coats of black mascara on top lashes and one coat of purple mascara on bottom lashes (try Almay Intense I-Color Play Up Volumizing Mascara in Amethyst, $7.99).

Hairstyle: Anna Paquin
Celebrity stylist Renato Campora created this look for "True Blood" star Paquin. To get the "soft yet glamorous look," Campora says to start by applying Frederic Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip, $23 to the roots of wet hair. Dry hair quickly with your hands and then use a half-inch curling iron and set the hair in pin curls for a couple of minutes (after curling each section with an iron, you'll pin up the curl to help it set). Remove the pins and run your fingers through your hair to loosen the coils, says Renato.
Next, pull hair back into a French twist, revealing the nape of the neck, and secure with bobby pins, he says. Create volume near the face by loosening the hair at the crown of the head a bit with your hands. Finish by spraying with a strong-hold hairspray like Tresemme Tres Spray Super Hold Hairspray, $3.99.

Bright red lips seen here on "True Blood" star Wesley, were all over the red carpet at this Emmys show and Landy Dean, celebrity makeup artist (to starlets like Michelle Williams and Naomi Watts) who works out of the Marie Robinson salon in New York City, says this look is super easy (read: quick) to pull off. Start by applying matte foundation, setting it with a translucent powder to get a clean-looking canvas. Then, choose a classic red lipstick or a brighter orange-toned red like Revlon Matte Lipstick in Coral, $7.99 and apply to the lips. Use the same lipstick and apply it to the apples of the cheeks with a sponge (like a cream blush), as this will "keep the color in harmony," says Dean. Define the eyes with a deep brown or black pencil between the lashes and blend slightly. Finish by applying a few coats of black mascara like Dior Diorshow Iconic High Definition Lash Curler Mascara, $27 to finish the look.

Hairstyle: Lea Michele
Townsend says the "touchable and super modern" look he created for "Glee" star Michele is easy to recreate. To get the style, he says to start by applying a bit of volumizing mousse to damp hair then blow dry your hair quickly with a round brush to create lift.
Next, working in three-inch sections of hair, spritz each with a heat protectant spray like Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist, $4.75 and curl from the ends up with a two-inch barrel iron. Rake a bit of smoothing cream through hair with fingers, making sure to "distribute product evenly for shiny, modern texture," says Townsend. Tease hair lightly at crown and spray the look with hairspray.
Finally, for the bangs, spray a natural-bristle eyebrow brush with a bit of hairspray and comb through them to create a middle part that's modern and most importantly, will last all night.

Nars Celebrity Makeup artist RC Stephens says this look is modern and fresh. To recreate it in a flash, start by using a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone. Then, use a hint of flesh toned pink blush (try CoverGirl Classic Color Blush in Rose Silk, $5.50) on the apples of the cheeks, blending upward to contour the cheekbones.
