We're so excited for the season change that we even wrote a song about it: "First comes fall, then comes ". Wait, so maybe that doesn't work. We'll stick to our day jobs and instead wax poetic about the new "it" colors for fall. We chose our four favorites to show you just how easy (and cheap!) it is to incorporate them into your hair, makeup looks and manicures. So go ahead, give them a try.

Must-try color: red
Whether it's an orange-red, cranberry or blood (blue-based) red this classic color has made a major come back for fall. If you decide red is the trend you want to embrace this season, make it the focus of your look and keep everything else neutral and natural.

Hair:
Red-headed actresses are dominating Hollywood these days, and just like Evan Rachel Wood does here, they're playing up their fiery locks by using a darker, aubern-toned hue to create a more sultry, romantic look. If you have naturally red or blonde hair, you can create a similar look by using Clairol Nice 'n' Easy Perfect 10 in Dark Auburn, $8.99.

Lips:
There are three reasons to wear red lipstick this fall -- first, there's a red shade out there to suit everyone, but when all else fails and you're unsure of what to choose, go for one with blue undertones (try Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipcolor in Red Revival, $5. It works on all skin tones. Second, if you wear red lips, you honestly don't have to put on any other makeup (and if you do, keep it simple like Blake Lively does here). Last, red lips make your teeth look whiter. Done and done.

Nails:
Do you really need an excuse to wear red nail polish? It's classic and sophisticated when worn on fingers or toes, just be sure to keep your fingernails trimmed short to keep the look classy. Try Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Nail Color in Red Tape. $1.99.
