Why you should get it: Jessica Biel's long waves and rounded bangs have a boho, 1970s vibe that has been all over the Fashion Week runways. "This style is all about looking young and staying young," says Antin. "Her bangs frame her eyes and her cheekbones, and they also cover any fine lines on the forehead. The long layers and shaggy bangs are a great way to feel slightly edgy without any of the fuss."

The cut: Asymmetrical Lob
Why you should get it: The "lob" (aka "long bob") is gaining momentum and is perfect for spring 2013. The asymmetrical lob is a very polished, high-fashion cut -- perfect if you've got impeccable sartorial taste or you're just looking for something sleek and out-of-the-box. "This is a classic, Chanel runway-inspired cut," says Antin. "It's very flattering on the sophisticated working girl."

The cut: Not Quite Long Cut
Why you should get it: This is one of those "in-between" cuts where it's not quite long, but not quite medium length, either. "This is a throwback to the Sophia Lauren days," says Antin. "The collarbone length is very popular for 2013. And long bangs and a heavy side part give it a bit of fashionable runway appeal."

The cut: Doll Bangs
Why you should get it: Jennifer Hudson's heavy, blunt bangs have that doll-like look that's very flattering. "This is one of the most sought-after looks for 2013," explains Antin. "The purpose of bangs is to highlight your eyes and cheekbones, and Jennifer's heavy bang outlines her face shape and draws attention directly to her beautiful eyes."

The cut: Long, Sleek, and Straight
Why you should get it: According to Antin, this seemingly-simple cut actually has a European flair. "This is what everyone is doing on the streets of Paris. They are growing out their layers and toning down the ombré. It's the new statement look for 2013."
Think back to all the times you've ever taken a chance at the hair salon. Was it the dead of winter or the middle of warm and sunny spring? If we had to guess, we bet you got bangs in March or chopped off your waist-long hair in April. There's just something about this season that makes you want to go to the salon and get a fresh new spring haircut.
And while we love switching things up just as much as the next girl, we know that you've gotta do your homework first. You don't want to march into the salon and tell the hairstylist to "do whatever you want." While we applaud that kind of laid back vibe, you won't be feeling so easygoing when you walk out of there looking like Kate Gosselin circa 2009.
So we've rounded up the seven freshest spring haircuts for 2013 that will make you want to mix up your routine and try something new. And we asked celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Antin (who's worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Drew Barrymore, just to name a few), to weigh in on why these cuts are worth giving a try.
We've got long haircuts, pixie cuts, and all the in-between stuff. So keep clicking to find your perfect spring haircut and then bring the picture to your next salon appointment.
