Ladies, now you can drop your tops -- convertible tops, that is -- without worrying about messing up your perfectly styled coif. How? Well Rene Furterer has come out with a new variety of styling products (finishing spray, mousse and gel) that features the patent-pending Cakile extract, taken from the small plant growing in the Mediterranean sand dunes known for its ability to resist wind, sea spray and it's lack of water, helping hair capture and retain moisture at the core. This finishing spray naturally sets hair for styles with movement.
Wrinkles are really just "solar scars" and dermatologists often use snazzy and pricy (and probably somewhat painful) laser wands of intense light that "wound" skin in order to repair unwanted lines. However, this new potent serum from Clinique offers similar results to an in-office laser treatment. In fact, you get 63 percent of the visible wrinkle-reducing power of a laser procedure after using Laser Focus for 12 weeks. How? A cocktail of patented repair enzymes penetrate deeply into the skin's surface via an innovative liposome delivery system, which helps repair visible lines, wrinkles and sun-inflicted damage.

Breast implant alternative
We women have always fantasized about taking the fat from our butts or thighs and moving it into our breasts. Plastic surgeons have actually been doing fat grafts to the breasts since the '90s, but the results have been variable, and while this was once frowned upon, now the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery state that fat injections to the breasts can be used to enhance breast appearance after breast reconstruction, or to soften the appearance of implants. And it looks like they may one day even have a role in cosmetic breast enlargements. (Here's to hoping ...)
P.S. Keep a look out for the "boob jab" -- though it's not (yet) available or approved for use in the United States or Canada, macrolane, a hyaluronic injectable, is approved in Europe as a temporary non-surgical breast enlargement alternative. You may have read rumors about Jennifer Aniston having it
This anti-aging cream uses innovative nano-particle technology to deliver a unique combo of grape stem cells (the buzz skin care words of the moment), peptides, pearl silanols and precious natural elements help to fight the signs of aging. "Time Arrest represents a quantum leap in the way we're able to deliver active anti-aging ingredients into the skin," says Dr. Fredric Brandt. This formula energizes cells with oxygen, lifts and tightens skin while protecting valuable stem cells from UV radiation and other environmental stressors to delay the aging process.
The Naluwaver promises that "no two curls will ever be the same." Instead of boring, one-note, same 'ol same 'ol curls that a curling iron yields, its unique dual barrel helps you get that effortless-looking tousled look. Two expert hairstylists, Kevin Ryan and Frank Rizzieri, created this new-to-the-market tool that boasts advanced LCD digital programming and reaches up to 430 degrees. By wrapping sections of hair in a figure eight pattern around the barrel, you can add volume and create many different curl variations. Also, try to vary the thickness of sections so that each section has a somewhat different wave. Supposedly it's "really easy to use" and "can be used by anyone," but we're thinking you may need a bit of savior-faire about hair in order to get a gorgeous style.
