Want to look younger? You could head to a plastic surgeon for a major procedure. Or you could take a much easier (not to mention less expensive and way less painful) approach and use your skin care, hairstyle, and makeup to shave a few years off your face.
Don't think seemingly minor tweaks like a new face cream or hair color can really make a difference? Wait until you see these anti-aging makeovers. We had three women -- one in her 30s, one in her 40s, and another in her 50s -- try L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Clinical Repair 10 Day Treatment SPF 20 for one month. Then we gave the women a hair and makeup makeover at Byu-Ti Salon in Santa Monica, Calif. The result: Three women who look years younger than before. And you want to know the great news? You can steal all of what we did to help them look so young for yourself. Check it out.

Meet Amy, in her 30s
Amy doesn't have too many lines and wrinkles at this point, but she says she'd love to have a smoother, more even-toned complexion. "I'm also eager to know what I should do now to stave off signs of aging later," she says. Plus, as an actress, she needs clear skin and a youthful look that she can wear to auditions.

Amy's skin care makeover
While Amy always washes and moisturizes her face in the morning and at night ("I never go to sleep without taking off my makeup," she says), she neglects her neck -- something any skin care expert says is a no-no -- and doesn't use any kind of topical treatment to help stave off wrinkles. Plus, Amy admits she often slacks on the sunscreen. "That extra step of putting sunscreen on top of my moisturizer feels too time-consuming," she says. To the rescue: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Clinical Repair 10 Day Treatment SPF 20, $19.99. "I love how it's my moisturizer, sunscreen, and anti-aging treatment all in one," she says. "It makes life easy." And, after four weeks of using the product in the morning and at night, Amy says she can really see a difference. "My skin feels smooth and soft, it's like having a silky layer on my face."

Amy's hair makeover
To give Amy's dyed blonde hair some shine, Byu-Ti stylist Rae Barnes uses a deep conditioning treatment to strengthen damaged hair, making it smoother and easier to manage. Barnes then teaches Amy the best way to get a professional-looking blowout on her own. "The secret is sectioning hair so you dry small pieces," says Barnes. "Also, you don't need five hands to do the job. Part your hair down the center of the back of your head and pull the hair to either side to blow dry. This way you can see what you're doing in a mirror."

Amy's makeup revamp
Although Amy says she isn't typically pressed for time when she gets ready in the morning, Barnes wants to give her a natural look that she can easily recreate on her own. For this look, Barnes applies false eyelashes to really make Amy's eyes pop. "It's a simple, quick way to add drama yet still look natural," says Barnes. Amy loves the versatility of the browns and tans Barnes uses on her eyes. "I'm a sporty girl, and sometimes I just want a simple look when I'm getting together with friends to watch a football game," she says. "Other times, I want to look a little more glam. Now I can get both looks easily."
