Invest in a self-massager
Looking for an easy way to self-massage? Then use t spheres, $30 says Bliss Spa Education Manager, Wendy Allred. They assist in self-massage, relieve tension, are aromatherapy-infused, and best of all, they're small and tote-able.

Here are Allred's tips for using them: "I keep the t spheres at my desk [so while] I'm reading emails, I use them to massage my hands and forearms." For legs, "I always have sore hamstrings, so I like to sit on the t spheres and put them on pressure points on the back of my legs." And for feet, "I will take off my shoes and roll them around on the t spheres."

Give yourself a foot bath
Soon recommends that busy moms soak their feet in warm water treated with French lavender (if you don't have some around the house, improvise by using a body wash like Suave Naturals Lavender Vanilla Body Wash, $2.50). "It is the first step to make you feel good and relaxed," she says. Another tip: "add a few drops of peppermint essential oil in your foot bath for a refreshing feel," she says.

Use face wipes
Busy moms barely have time to apply makeup, much less remove it late at night when exhaustion sets in. So the best way to ensure you get your face squeaky clean in the evening, is to indulge in face cleansing wipes. That way, when you're done for the day and don't feel like peeling yourself off the couch, you can just reach over, grab a cloth, and simply wipe the day away.

Rub your hands and feet
Okay, so while a mani/pedi is much more desirable, the next best thing is to simply give yourself a quick rub -- especially to your hands and feet since they work hard for you all day long. According to Jin Soon, owner of Jin Soon Natural Hand and Foot Spa in New York, "Having your hands and feet massaged with [soothing] lotion will relax you." Try a lotion like Suave Naturals Lavender Vanilla Body Lotion, $2.95 for a calming effect. Afterwards she says, "wrap your hands and feet with [warm] towels; it is super relaxing and it's a great way to conclude a massage and release tension."
