Messy braid
There's nothing more natural than unwashed hair, agreed? On your second-day hair, try Felicity Jones' messy lived-in braid that's stunning without looking immaculate. Celebrity hairstylist Patrick Melville shares how to get the look below:

Step 1: Take a one-inch curling iron and wrap one-inch sections of hair around it from roots to ends to a create curly texture.
Step 2: Tease the crown.
Step 3: Make a deep part across your left brow's arch.
Step 4: Slightly gel down the left side of your part.
Step 5: Maintaining the pouf at your crown, pull all your hair to the right side of the part and braid into a fishtail.
Step 6: Secure the braid with an elastic, then wrap a section of hair around the elastic, bobby pinning it in.
Step 7: Pull out a few pieces of hair from around your face, and pull apart sections of the finished braid to loosen it.
Step 8: Lightly mist hair with a flexible hold hairspray like Dove Flexible Hold Aerosol Hairspray with Natural Movement, $4.59.

Natural flush
Applying blush is an art. Too much and you look like a 5-year-old who found her mother's makeup stash; too little and you look sallow and "tired." Celebrity makeup artist Stephanie Flor tells us how to perk up those cheeks for a healthy glow like the one seen on Michelle Williams:

Step 1: Apply a tinted moisturizer like Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF15, $24.50, as it's great for coverage, but light enough to let your natural skin show through.
Step 2: Apply a bit of concealer under your eyes and on your lids to get an even tone.
Step 3: Pat a peachy-pink cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks (try Josie Maran Cream Blush, $22).
Step 4: Apply a light pink lip balm like CoverGirl NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Marble, $5.99.

Just-rolled-out-of-bed waves
Loose waves like Jennifer Aniston's look like natural texture, rather than styled curls. While her bed-head waves take more work than just rolling out of bed, you can copy the look easily with Melville's tips:

Step 1: Apply a texturizing spray to wet hair. Try Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray, $20.
Step 2: Blow dry hair away from your face using a round brush.
Step 3: With a 3/4-inch curling iron, wrap one-inch sections of hair from mid-shafts to ends only (leave the roots straight). Curl random sections of hair in different directions to create a more haphazard, rough texture.
Step 4: Gently run your hands through the waves to break up the curl, then finish with a spritz of hairspray.

Bronzed glow
Jessica Biel's flawless face is perfectly dewy and radiant. See how to get her bronzed look with Flor's tips:

Step 1: Apply a lightweight foundation to the center of your face and blend outward with fingertips to create a natural finish. To make sure you get a dewy finish, dilute your foundation by mixing in some of your primer.
Step 2: Apply concealer to your under-eye area and on any skin imperfections. Make sure to use color-correcting concealer on any redness around the nose and bluish tints under the eyes.
Step 3: Use a duo blush and bronzer like Nars Highlighting/Bronzing Blush Duo in Orgasm/Laguna, $40, on your cheeks to add color and dimension. Apply the blush onto the apples of your cheeks, then swipe the bronzer underneath to the hollow of your cheeks, going in an upwards motion towards the temples.
Step 4: Finish with a light swash of translucent powder.

Soft twist
A soft updo like Blake Lively's is styled yet still looks effortless. See how to get the look yourself with tips from Abby Schlenger from the Marie Robinson Salon in New York City:

Step 1: Spray hair with a texturizer like KMS California Hair Play Sea Salt Spray, $12.99.
Step 2: Tease hair lightly from root to ends to create texture. Then, run your fingers through your hair.
Step 3: Tie all your hair into a high ponytail with an elastic.
Step 4: Work with small sections of the ponytail, wrapping them around the elastic and securing them haphazardly with pins at the base. Allow loose ends to fall naturally.
Step 5: Pull hair out of the ponytail to frame the face and finish the perfect "messy on purpose" look.
