Being that this isn't Nicole's first time in the big leagues, we think she should mix things up with a modern faux-bob. It's fresh, youthful yet sophisticated, and will be a nice change from her usual hair-down style.

Sandra Bullock
Last year's Oscar winner for Best Actress has been wearing fringe recently (much to our and many other critics' dismay), so we predict she will have grown the bangs out a bit and will therefore wear them long and side-swept, and paired with an updo.

Mila Kunis
While her character from "Black Swan" wore a ballerina bun, we suspect she will go for a sultry, glamorous look -- think a deep side part and movie star waves.

Emma Stone
As a young actress and someone who's relatively new to the Oscar red carpet, Stone would look gorgeous in a curly half-updo. It's feminine, flirty and will show off her face, which is a nice way to say, "Hey, keep a close watch on me, Hollywood."

Amy Adams
Adams has amazing red hair and while she's often seen wearing it in long, loose waves, we think she should pull it up for such a grand occasion. This elegant bun is sophisticated and grounded (kinda like her personality).

What is it about human nature that makes us want to predict everything?
From the weekly weather forecast to our upcoming astrological year or even the world's demise come 2012 (thanks for that one Mayans) -- we just have to know what's in store for us.
The 2011 "Academy Awards" aren't much different. But unlike your super competitive "who will win what" office poll (you know, the one you NEVER win), we want to predict which hairstyles will be worn. Why? Because it's a whole lot of fun and, hello, we're a beauty website!
Perhaps we also like to make grand guesses about celebrity hairstyles because we want to be in control. And when we're feeling extra delusional, we like to believe that maybe, just maybe, a mentioned celebrity will see the hairstyle we have predicted for them and actually heed the advice.
OK, OK, we know that likely won't happen, but at least making these Oscar hairstyle predictions gives us purpose in life (don't judge).
