Instead of doing a full-blown purple smoky eye like makeup artist Tina Turnbow did for Parker on Emmy day, opt for a more subtle version for every day wear. Start by lining top and bottom lash lines with purple pencil liner like Victoria's Secret VS Makeup Eye Liner in Exotic Plum, $8, then smudge the lines a bit for a softer finish using a smudge brush or a Q-Tip. This will give you a hint of color without looking too over-the-top. Finish the eyes with two coats of black mascara, Turnbow used Maybelline New York Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara, $10.99.

However, that doesn't mean we can't have red carpet-worthy style every day, right? That's why we pulled together easy-to-do tips from celebrity hair and makeup artists for our favorite Emmy Awards looks. Now, you can feel like an A-list star whenever you want, even if the only one fawning over you is your pooch.
