It looks like Spelling may have forgotten that she was expecting a baby, not impersonating one. It's important to edit and tone down your choices a bit when you're pregnant. Outrageous looks that can (maybe) work when you're slim become comical when you've got a baby bump. This look has too much of everything: too much hairstyling, too many patterns, too many details in the blouse.

Jessica Alba -- Best
Anyone who's been pregnant knows that at times a girl can feel really really tired. Take a cue from Jessica Alba and utilize color to brighten your look. This eggplant gown maximizes Alba's baby glow, and its strapless design shows off tanned shoulders. Bronzer and warm neutral makeup give the eyes sparkle.

Christina Aguilera -- Worst
Aguilera wore a lot of great looks while she was preggers, but this wasn't one of them. Here again is an example of why you need to edit and tone down while pregnant. Where to look first? Her blouse that's ill-fitted across the bust with its baby-doll sleeves? Or her over-worked, Whatever-Happened-to-Baby-Jane hairstyle? One or the other needs to go.

Nicole Richie -- Best
It's clear that Richie knows a thing or two about styling the expectant mother. Aren't we lucky she's released her own line of maternity clothing? This is a great example of how to keep your personal style and still look chic when you're pregnant. Richie pairs a hippie-chic open tunic with a form-fitting, chic, black dress. Easy understated hair and flattering neutral makeup allow the extra long locket to put the focus right on that beautiful baby bump.

Kelis -- Worst
We're not big fans of matching your makeup colors to your clothing, and we're definitely not in favor of also matching your haircolor to your dress. Kelis' dress is actually quite flattering and chic (though it could fit a little better). But with blue hair, green hair, blue eye makeup and fire engine red lips, who's looking at the dress? This look wouldn't work whether she was pregnant or not. The rules of taste, proportion and editing still apply when you've got a bun in the oven.
